Rivier University’s online Master of Education in School Counseling degree program is designed to equip you with the skills necessary to support students when they need it most. This 55-credit-hour program combines classroom and internship experience and is taught by instructors with experience in helping students deal with social, emotional, and educational challenges.
This program covers topics such as clinical counseling, basic human interaction, collaboration and innovation, group counseling, and more. Upon graduation, you will be able to use intervention strategies, and case conceptualization skills grounded in theory and develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
